SHISHITO PEPPER

In this series "Quick Instructions", as the name suggests I jot down the ingredients and the procedure so it's easier to follow.


INGREDIENTS:

  1. Shishito pepper - 10 pieces

  2. Salt - to taste

  3. Mustard oil - 3 tbsp

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Roast the shishito pepper in a pan without oil.

  2. Once there are slight black spots on the peppers, remove them from the pan.

  3. Add a tablespoon of mustard oil and the shishito peppers back into the pan.

  4. Sprinkle salt to taste and roast everything for about 5 minutes on medium heat.

  5. Take the peppers off the stove and add another 2 tablespoons of mustard oil.

  6. Mix well and the peppers are ready to be served.
